I'm a newbie at deviantART. I believe this website is a good venue for showcasing your talents in drawing, poetry, photography... and that is one of the main reasons why I am here.

Other Purposes:

Ü Putting my works of art in public than letting it rest forever in an old notebook. What are the use of those poems if no one would read, criticize, and appreciate it?

Ü Improve my 'little gifts' that were given to me by God (I'm a Catholic) through people's comments, critics and opinions as long as it would be for the better and not as a means to destroy me (the writer and his/her works )through nasty comments.

Ü to be used to critics. (I really hate critics, especially the one who give the downgrading ones. But I'm trying to be more open to them because I believe it will make me a better person.

Ü reduce boredom. Have fun and recreation.

Ü have an outlet to express my deepest emotions lying inside my heart.

My comments about DeviantART:
Ü It's nice that you get familiarized with the different forms of literature. You will also know what paticular type of poem you are writing. Sometimes you do not know that you are already posing a limerick or a haiku, thinking that it is only a free verse poem. I like the elaborated definitions of every work of literature.

Ü thumbs down: I hope DeviantART will make different skins or allow CSS. I don't like the dull colors and the layout. But other than that, It's nice.
